After graduating from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL with

a BA degree in Graphic Design, I began my career working for a

small printing company as a Graphic Designer. Learning the

printing process through hands-on involvement was an invaluable

experience—not only did I learn how my designs and products were printed, but I also learned how to produce clean, error-free files that my clients and printers can still expect from me today.

From there I went on to become a Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer for a medical supply company where I managed a telemarketing department while utilizing my design skills to create print ads and product catalogs. This experience eventually opened the doors to the world of publication design where I landed the position as Art Director for Markee magazine, a national trade publication for the film and video industry. During this time, I also helped develop and create a quarterly publication, Markee’s ProGear, while also working on the company’s annual production directory.

After six years, I changed gears and moved on to the local level where I worked for four years as the Associate Art Director for Orlando magazine, a city lifestyle publication. I also represented the magazine as a social event reporter for the local television show, Hot Spots. This was truly a fun experience, but I learned my true talent remains in design!

With 15 years of experience in the design and publishing industry, I am now enjoying my career as an independent designer, specializing in publication design & production and the health & wellness industry. I take pleasure in building relationships with my clients on both a personal and professional level, and pride myself on integrity, proficiency, reliable customer service, having fun and enjoying what life has to offer.
